Team Racing
Each time a team member races Liberty Mutual Insurance NASTAR they score points for their team. Participants don't need to race on the same day or at the same location to score points for their online team! The NASTAR web site keeps track of team scores based on each participant's best handicap earned during the season and ranks each team. NASTAR racers can be associated with three types of teams: Family/Friends Team, Resort Team & Club Team. A list for Teams and Team Rules can be found here.

  1. NASTAR Team Points are a great way to score a series of races because each competitor's age and gender are factored into their score. The NASTAR handicap chart shows the number of team points scored based on the medal won. Click here to view the NASTAR Handicap Chart. The number of team points indicated on the chart is a range. Since team points are interpolated, the exact number of team points earned will be within this range. The exact number of team points scored is indicated on the results page for that race.

  2. 100 Point Scale. Competitors score points based on the place they finish in the race.
