You can earn and collect badges by participating NASTAR races.
You don't have to be the fastest (that will come with practice), you simply need to get out there and race.
Badges are broken into different groups and within each group by increasing degree of difficulty.
Once you have one badge, set your sights on the next!
Plus, if you're one of the first 50 to earn a badge you'll have bragging rights because you'll be listed on the page detailing that badge!

Lifetime Badges
These badges track your whole NASTAR career and are earned once. They do not reset each season.

The Buddy badge is something of an exception. You earn it for participating in the web site! Simply add 5 buddies and you'll earn the badge. If you haven't already go to your record, click on 'Buddies' tab and see how to add buddies (it's easy).
This is based on the total number of NASTAR season's with a result (since 1999).
